Live West Ealing aims to transform West Ealing by making streets safer, greener and more attractive by encouraging more walking, cycling and public transport use.

Recent surveys have shown that high volumes of traffic pass through the residential streets south of Broadway*. Our response is to work with residents to implement a Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) to help to reduce these numbers. A LTN is a group of residential streets where “through” motor vehicle traffic is discouraged so that children, the elderly and vulnerable people feel more comfortable making journeys on foot or by bike. An LTN may consist of physical changes such as one-way systems, banned turns and/or road closures. These are also complemented with tree planting, cycle parking and improved pedestrian crossings.

The survey will be open online until midnight on 5th January 2020.
